This district study proposes two options for this centrally located parcel. The first envisions a sports hub with new sports facilities to accommodate major sporting events such as the Asian Games. In this scheme, half of the land area is dedicated to a sports park which contains all of the sports facilities and supporting programs. The remaining portion of the site is dedicated to a mixed-use development with a focus on healthy living. The second scheme assumes a primarily mixed-used district with a smaller emphasis on sporting facilities.
Role: As the lead designer for this project, I coordinated both schemes and the conceptualization and design of the scheme emphasizing sports programming.
